The Pinot Noir wines of Oregon are truly unique. They establish a nice balance between the Pinots of California and those of France. Whereas the California version tends to show elaborate fruit, the French Pinots are much restrained towards earthy, delicate fruitiness. Oregon falls in between. The fruit displayed is enticing in both the bouquet and the various flavors. The acid balances and tannins, where applied, support the perfumed scents and the enveloping Saturday, exotic flavors. The resulting wines are exciting in all styles from light to full, and, as you will see this, the lovely rosés as well.
