Over the years, the Gallo family has picked up a number of wineries and vineyards from around the world and enjoys any opportunity to show off the fine wines that issue from there. While most properties are in California some are from outside the US such as Whitehaven of New Zealand and Brancaia of Italy. Touring Gallo-land can be an interesting excursion.

Chock full of rich fruit and sporting a supple texture and a luscious smoothness that glides across the palate, this is a tremendous value in an all-purpose red wine that works well with food, or on its own.
